The 2007 wine grape harvest is under way in San Luis Obispo County, as a handful of wineries began picking grapes last week, nearly two weeks earlier than normal.
The crop is smaller than those in the previous two years, but the quality appears better, said Don Brady, winemaker at Robert Hall Winery in Paso Robles. A cold and dry winter and temperate summer temperatures contributed to the harvest’s starting earlier, Brady said.Originally Syndicated via RSS from SanLuisObispo.com: Wine
